Can we talk more, or have a dialogue about being a light to oneself.

What does it mean to be a light to oneself? So can we start from the beginning? We are not a light to ourselves now. That is a fact. Right? We are confused - politically, religiously, in all our relationships with each other, there is a certain strain, confusion, conflict, and from that this question of sorrow and so on. So we are, as human beings right throughout the world, dreadfully confused. There are so many guides, so many philosophies, so many gurus with their systems, asserting, persuading, hoping that you will follow the right and so on. So there is this immense confusion outwardly and inwardly. That's a fact. Can we start from there?

Weekly Dialogues

Saturday 9:30 – 11:00 AM online dialogues via Zoom

Interested participants may request to be included in the mailing list, so that they will receive the Zoom link ahead of the dialogue every week. No prior registration is required for this activity. The mode of dialogue is English.

 Sunday 10:00 -11:30 AM in-person dialogue
This is an in-person dialogue for free. The only requirement is that the participants arrive and leave on time so as not to disturb the meeting. There is a video screening for about 30 minutes before the dialogue starts. Sometimes, reading a short portion from K literature is observed in place of the video screening, followed by a dialogue. The mode of dialogue is Odia.
Usually, there is a brief warm up get-together before the video/reading starts. It is intended to build a cohesive environment for smooth dialogue.

Wednesday in-depth Self Studies

Wednesday 4:00 -5:00 PM
Small group discussions with Study Centre Workers. It can be a one-on- one meeting on a specific topic, a personal psychological issue, or a general question of common interest.

These meetings are also meant to invite interested visitors to get familiar with KFICC premises, its functions, and its employees.
Adults are also encouraged to bring along children and introduce them to a serene self-reflective spot in the heart of a crowded city, Cuttack.

 Wednesday 5:00 - 6:00 PM
This time is set aside for an hour of silence. Any visitors, during this hour, will be shown a place in the premises to be just alone. They will be suggested not to read or be occupied in any activity but to be absolutely
quiet and alert internally as well as externally. The workers at the Study Centre also take part in this activity.
